Within the scope of our Analytics Solutions we use the so called WiFi tracking (also known as smartphone tracking). We capture the tracking data by using dedicated sensors. These sensors detect the anonymous MAC-ID of all smartphones / devices via the WiFi signals and allow for a statistical evaluation of dwell times, loyalty, routes etc.
Of course privacy rights are respected at all times since DILAX can neither identify individual people nor collect personal data with this technology. DILAX is 100% compliant with data protection and meets the requirements of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). This was verified by ePrivacyseal GmbH, an external, objective body.
In case you do not want the data of your device being used for the statistical analyses, you can opt yourself out by following this link: privacysig.org/opt-out.html. There you can also find instructions on how to find the MAC ID of your device.
